Veronica DeWitt began her dance training in 2003 as a freshman at the University of Oregon. Having recently graduated from the UO with a Bachelor’s degree in Dance and a minor in Business Administration, this is Veronica’s first season with DPC. Growing up in Sixes, OR (a small town on the Southern Oregon coast) provided limited dance opportunities, although she was able to be a part of a Celtic step dancing group and practice her “moves” in the family living room. She is motivated to continue performing, especially if it involves traveling, and also educating the general public about the history and artistry of modern dance. |
